Get Your Tickets Before They Sell Out Las Vegas!
laughingsamoansflyer.jpg
Comedic duo The Laughing Samoans to perform at The Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, July 18, 2009 as part of the group’s Prettyfull Woman Tour.

Fans of The Laughing Samoans will recognize some of the duo’s most well-known characters such as the irrepressible Aunty Tala who finds herself entering a beauty contest and antics by others including Sam and Tony, Paul and Victor, and Jonathan and Bryan during the Prettyful Woman Tour.

The comedic partners in crime, Eteuati Ete and Tofiga Fepulea’I, grew up together and performed their first show together, although not as a duo, aptly titled “Laughing with Samoans” in 2003. In October 2004, adopting a rendition of the performance name, they premiered their first show at The Laughing Samoans called A Small Samoan Wedding. This was another hit with sold-out shows throughout New Zealand and the show eventually toured in Hawaii and the United States.

Also joining them on stage is musical guest Pati.

The Pearl Box Office is open from noon – 7:00 p.m. daily. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and show time is 8:30 p.m.

Wanna Swap Wives anyone?
  wifeswap-logo.jpg

Aloha listeners of PIpeline 2 Paradise Radio.  Some exciting news to pass on.  Our client SouthPacificSurfShop.com was contacted by the executive coordinator of ABC's Wifeswap.

Basically they are currently casting families whose ethnicities and cultures play a big part in their daily life.

Specifically, they are looking for a Hawaiian or Polynesian family that can teach another family about their island culture!

Wife Swap airs Friday nights at 8pm, but currently they are in re-runs and will be airing new episodes in 2010.  Families must have two parents and at least one child between the ages of 6-18 still living at home.  Families selected to appear on the show receive a $20,000 honorarium to compensate for lost wages while shooting.

Wife Swap is the series where two moms switch houses for six days and live in the shoes of the other woman. It's a great experience for any open-minded family!  It is a 10-12 day time commitment, and we shoot year round.

INTERESTED?  Well don't waste any time.  E-mail me immediately for contact information.  The sooner you contact them, the better you chance to get selected.  Good luck.

Augie T and Me?
AugT2009.jpgThe 3rd Annual Hawaiian Style Comedy Show comes to Sin City this Friday June 5th.  This year it will be held inside the Ohana Room at the California Hotel and Casino.

Last year's show was quite a memory for me.  My wife and I had planned a night out with an early dinner followed by a night of relaxing and laughing at the Hawaiian Style Comedy show featuring Augie T.  Small kine date if you will.  We were about 3 minutes away from the Cannery Hotel and Casino and I got a call that would change our night's plans.

Shawn Santana, owner of Vizzun Entertainment called me and said he needed a last minute emcee for the comedy show.  The original emcee could only stay for the first segment leaving me to host the rest of the night.

To emcee a musical event or festival is no sweat for me at all, I love doing it! To emcee a comedy show with no preparation at all, well that's a horse of another color.  I recall being super nervous because it was a first for me.  Usually the host will do their own prepared comedy routine in between acts keeping the audience in high spirits and laughing.  I did my best in trying to keep everyone smiling and I think I did ok, but inside I was nervous as crap.  I told Shawn give me all the prize giveaways you have and I will stall as best as I can giving out free stuff.  Everybody loves free stuff right?  Needless to say I don't really remember any of the other comedian's jokes, including Augie's set.

The night ended and I guess you can say the night-mare ended also for me.  Augie, in a joking way said to me after the show, good job Tadd Fujikawa (Hawaii-Pro Golfer). It's a night I try to forget, but will always remember.

Lucky for you Vegas I will not be hosting this year's show, so I encourage you to purchase your tickets now before they sell out.  The first 2 years sold out so do it now.  You can purchase it from the California Hotel and Casino, all Aloha Kitchen locations, The Poke Express, or online at
www.vizzun.com .
